CPD

We are working alongside the small animal surgery team to organise CPD days for veterinarians - we are currently taking bookings for "Tumours, Tubes and Blockages" taking place on 22nd April 2016. Please get in touch for a booking form.

June Did It Again!

Keeping us all in order, whilst causing brows to furrow and brains to be wracked by conjuring up an array of questions designed to test even the sharpest minds, veterinary nurse June Peacock ran yet another fantastic quiz night.  A hard fought battle ensued between students, admin and veterinary staff with the surgery team being awarded victory for the third time.  Thanks to June's efforts and a sell-out evening, a staggering £1,100 was raised to purchase three resuscitation model dogs for the new Clinical Skills Centre.

Hospital Wish List

As you will know, the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital runs on a not-for-profit basis which is where we step in.  With your help we have been able to provide a huge range of facilities and much-needed equipment since Camvet was first established in the 1980s.  We have been working alongside our clinical colleagues to identify where our help is needed most - from replacing equipment to identifying sponsors for key veterinary posts and have been able to fund a huge amount of equipment for all the different areas of the hospital (anaesthesia, farm animal, surgery, equine, imaging, clinical pathology, pharmacy etc).  If you would be interested in raising money for an item do get in touch - we've still got a huge long list with items ranging from £100 to £100k!

2016 London Marathon

We have a fantastic NINE runners taking part in this year's London Marathon raising funds for Camvet.  If you'd like to sponsor them or take part in a future Marathon do get in touch.
