About Us

Camvet is a small charity dedicated to raising funds for the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital here in Cambridge. The hospital runs on a not-for-profit basis, so our goal is to fund essential equipment and facilities for diagnosing and treating the many thousands of animals referred for care. In addition, we provide equipment to help teach the veterinary students and support several Clinical Training Scholar posts. Every donation, no matter how large or small, really does make a huge difference to our animal patients.

Our Latest News

Huge congratulations to our London Marathon runners Yuvani, Vikki, Rupert, Fengyuan and David who all finished the race and in some pretty amazing times while raising valuable funds for Camvet. Their sponsorship will go towards our recently launched campaign for an new MRI machine. Thank you to them and their wonderful sponsors! In addition to funding the new Small Animal Minimally Invasive Theatre, with your help we've been able to purchase a huge amount of equipment for our neurology, farm and small animal medicine teams. We're also delighted to be funding a new residency "The Michael Herrtage Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Imaging". Special thanks also goes to The Alice Noakes Memorial Charitable Trust for continuing to support the Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Small Animal Medicine.
