Six intrepid runners from the Queens Veterinary School Hospital took part in this year's Cambridge Half Marathon, the 13.1 mile route passed through the centre of town and many beautiful historical landmarks. Our runners included students, clinicians and even our Head of Department, Prof Mark Holmes! On completing the race he commented:
"I'm very pleased to report that I managed to complete the half-marathon in a whisker under 2 hrs. Everything hurts but I'm hoping a hot bath and the passage of time will reduce the suffering.
I am enormously grateful for everyone's' support for CamVet. Your money will be put to very good use at the Vet School through this amazing charity."
