Our Achievements

Since its inception the Trust has raised over £9 million for a wide variety of projects at Cambridge Veterinary School including:

• A £70k campaign launched in 2016 and completed within a year to fund a replacement ultrasound machine for the Diagnostic & Imaging Department;

• The Clinical Skills Centre including a range of interactive teaching models, equipment and furniture;

• Nine new small animal consulting rooms and a teaching consultation room;

• The Equine Diagnostic Unit refurbishment;

• Europe's first Cancer Therapy Unit for animals and in 2009, with the completion of the HOPE Appeal, the Trust purchased a new radiotherapy machine and extended the Unit;

• A Small Animal Wing, Intensive Care Unit and Small Animal Surgical Suite;

• An Equine Surgical Suite and Equine Diagnostic Unit;

• A Farm Animal Medicine Centre;

• The world's first Chair in animal welfare;

• Specialist equipment for The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital;

• An Endowment Fund to support the work of the Hospital in perpetuity.
