Camvet is a small charity dedicated to raising funds for the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital here in Cambridge. The hospital runs on a not-for-profit basis, so our goal is to fund essential equipment and facilities for diagnosing and treating the many thousands of animals referred for care. In addition, we help to fund teaching projects for our veterinary students. Every donation, no matter how large or small, really does make a huge difference to our animal patients.
With your help we are making great progress with our Ultrasound Appeal. We are now over 90% of the way to reaching our £70,000 target! Simply follow the Justgiving link if you would like to make a donation and help us reach the finish line! Thank you!
Dr Bruce James Netschert
A fund has been established to commemorate the life of Dr Bruce James Netschert (known as Jamie), who graduated from Cambridge Vet School in 1980 and sadly died at the end of November.
The Jamie Netschert Fund, set up by his family, aims to provide grants for equipment and EMS support for vet students from Selwyn College, Jamie's college whilst at Cambridge.
If you would like to contribute to the fund, please contact Mike Nicholson, Development Director, Selwyn College firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be assured that we will never share your contact details with any other party.
