Jo, Harriet and Lauren with their finishing medals!
A huge congratulations to our incredible team of runners who took part in last week’s TCS London Marathon.
Raising funds for Camvet, Cambridge Veterinary School alumni Hannah Redhead and Lauren Britten ran alongside current Senior Clinical Training Scholar Harriet Rhodes, as well as Camvet supporters Jo Seddon and David Moss. Together, they took on the iconic 26.2-mile challenge with determination, resilience, and fantastic team spirit.
Months of early mornings, long training runs, and unwavering commitment all led to an unforgettable day - and we are delighted to celebrate their success.
We’re especially pleased to share photos of Jo, Harriet and Lauren after their races, capturing a well-earned moment of celebration - an achievement to be truly proud of!
Lauren said, “One of my favourite spectator spots was a man holding his dog’s paw out for high fives - obviously I obliged!” 🐾
Thank you to everyone who has supported the team and the charity so far through donations and encouragement. If you would still like to contribute, you can support the Camvet runners via the University of Cambridge Veterinary School Trust – JustGiving page (please quote “Marathon” in the donation message). Also if you are tempted to take up the baton from our 2026 runners and run for Camvet in future events, contact the Trust Office.
Congratulations and thanks once again to all our runners.
