Steve's cycling challenge for the Cardio team

The September 2025 "£2 Million Swiss Challenge" was the 23rd and final annual relay cycling event organized by Extra Mile Challenges. 

The ultimate ride consisted of 500 miles (805 km) covered across four countries: France, Germany, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. Forty-two teams of four cyclists tackled a relay format over three days, tackling steep ascents in the Vosges and Alpine foothills.

Camvet benefited from a generous donation to the Cardiology Department of £1,309.10 from team "Park Pedlars" after team member Steve’s dog Buddy had been a patient at The Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital. Thank you Team Pedlars!
